Tom Hale is a Google AdWords Specialist at Thomas Creek Concepts.
He was an attendee at the SEMpdx SearchFest this year and I caught up with him and asked him about his experience this year. Tom has attended SearchFest all three years and he offers to “give it up” and tell us what he liked, what he didn’t like, and what he would like to see at SearchFest 2010.

I will be attending another web net conference today. I am working at as well as attending one of the Internet Strategies Workshop Series at Portland State University today. This internet marketing conference is from 12 noon to 5PM. I will be in the Site Lab from 4PM until we run out of reviews. There will be a group of SEM / SEO experts and students giving 10 minute SEO – SEM website reviews.

An expert will know what information is of the best value and what information is just fun to know. Oh no! Not another report from SMX Advanced in Seattle, June ’08. Everyone else reported on the sessions and Amplify-Interactive has a very good detailed one! I have decided to report on the Expo Hall.


As I walked through the paths in the expo hall during the rush of the lunch break I couldn’t help but wonder “what goes on at these booths while we are supposed to be learning all these black hat techniques?” I actually made my way through each and every booth. The booth that was the most active always seemed to be the SEOmoz booth.
