Valid HTML code to improve search engine rankings straight from Matt Cutts
Every one would like to have higher search engine rankings. Wouldn’t you?
In this video snippet Matt Cutts from Google answers a question about HTML codes validating through the W3C and whether your HTML code can improve your search engine ranking.
OK. HTML code validation isn’t the end all when it comes to SEO and higher search engine rankings. Improving search engine rankings isn’t a one step process it is a lot of little ones.
Let’s look at your search engine rankings as a balance scale and each of your SEO optimization processes as feathers. True some feathers will be heaver than others but they are still all feathers and the more you can add to the scale the more it will tip towards improved search engine rankings.”
You can check and see if your HTML code validates by using the W3C HTML validator.
