SEO for SEOs, Advanced Analytics, Google’s Caffeine release and SEOmoz Rumors in Seattle

Once again the cream of the SEO crop got together at Seattle’s Bell Harbor International Conference Center. This is always a great venue and this year’s version wasn’t disappointing.
There were plenty of interesting presentations, visitors, guests, and rumors to keep the days and evenings entertaining.
The Bell Harbor International Conference Center sits right on the water with-in walking distance to a plethora of food and visual delights.

(Post from Search Engine Optimizician.)
Danny Sullivan interviewed Matt Cutts about Google’s release of Caffeine. Typical of any Matt and Danny Show they joked around and had a great time. Here is the YouTube video of the interview.
The most interesting rumor I heard at this year’s conference was that SEOmoz was planning a new tool. This tool is code-named “Guarana”. (Hey that sounds much cooler than “Longhorn” doesn’t it?) This new tool is rumored to be much more potent than Google’s “Caffeine”. I can’t wait for the release of this new powerful tool.

One of the more interesting topics that came to my attention this week was the depth of detail in the “NEW” analytics. The San Diego based company, Covario, touted that you can actually track your social, print, and web all together along with their relationships, all from one dashboard. Analytics are no longer just something to only track your website traffic.
Stay tuned for more insights about SMX Advanced in the days to come.
