WebVisions is Celebrating Their 10th Year in Portland Oregon

webvisions Future Web Design Technology User Experience Business Strategy
WebVisions, a nationally recognized conference exploring the future of Web design, technology, user experience & business strategy. May 19th thru 21st 2010 at the Oregon Convention Center.

Looking back to our first year, Portland was in the midst of an August heatwave, with temperatures over 100 degrees. It was stiflingly hot at the venue and Jeffrey Zeldman delivered a keynote address on web standards which was followed by a panel discussion on “The DIY Revolution.”

To top it off, we had to run over 50 feet of phone cable and connect to a 56k modem to access the web. Broadband, blogs, Facebook, Twitter and mobile were still years away.

Here is just a sampling of my previous WebVisions posts.
