Internet Marketing Conference at Portland State University – The Phases of Social Media Integration & Adoption
I will be blogging almost live from the floor of the Internet Marketing Conference at Portland State University. The pre-keynote from Bryan Rhoads of Intel is about to begin.
Bryan’s talk is titled “The Phases of Social Media Integration & Adoption”
With over five years of integrating social media into the marketing mix, Bryan Rhoads with the Intel Social Media Center of Excellence shares Intel’s learnings, pitfalls, and journey into social media adoption and integration as one of the world’s top brands. Rhoads moves beyond the “kool-aid” of social media rhetoric and looks at the business drivers of why corporations like Intel are making significant investments in social and digital marketing programs.
Here is a shot of the group eating their lunch before the keynote began.
(Post from Search Engine Optimizician.)
The keynote is from Renny Gleeeson the Global Director of Interactive Strategies at Wieden+Kenedy. This keynote is actually on video from Helsinki. The room next door has already seen this while we were engaged by Bryan Rhoads’ presentation.
