An Internet Scam Check on one of the Current email Scams on the Internet
I received the email below promising to send me 4.2 million dollars in cash and all I have to do is send them some information about myself so they will know who they are sending it to.
This cash package will be delivered by DHL, but they don’t know they are delivering cash. DHL thinks they are delivering a box of cotton material and I can’t let the know what the real contents are.
So what’s in it for the sender?

Current email Scam?
Let’s look at some of the details of this email and we will do an internet scam check on this email. I guess you can see that I think it is a scam right out of the box.
(Post from Search Engine Optimizician.)
First and foremost it is sent to an email address I use only for business and never for personal business use. The only reason I know what email address this is sent to is by what mail box it comes in to. The email is addressed to “undisclosed recipients”. This means many people received the same email.
To: undisclosed recipients: ;
Let’s see who it is from. “Barrister Sexy Toya” now that sounds like a business professional. ![]()
“Barrister Sexy Toya” must be “Mrs. J.Samuleh”.
The from and reply-to addresses are not the same. (small alarm sounds)

My server thinks the email is a spam. While not the final word it is a consideration for further inspection.

What information are they asking for? They want a copy of my “identity” and they have shown no idea of who I am. Sure they are going to send me 4.2 million dollars cash. ![]()
This reeks of IDENTITY THEFT to me!
please fill this
1. YOUR FULL NAME:
2. YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS:
3. YOUR PHONE AND FAX NUMBER:
4. A COPY OF YOUR IDENTITY:
5. YOUR AGE AND MARITAL STATUS:
6. YOUR COUNTRY AND CITY:

You would think someone giving away $4,200,000 could afford to have their English checked.
Note this,The DHL DELIVERY COMPANY don’t know the contents of the Box we registered as a BOX of an Cotton Material and they don’t know that the contents is money.
This is definitely an email scam.
What Can be Done About email Scams
If you want to report your email scams and/or internet scams there is information in an earlier email scam post on scam email reporting.
If you don’t have throw-away email addresses (an email address you use when you sign up for something for free) create some. I have throw-away or spam email addresses I use for both personal and business.
How Did They Get My email Address?
When you sign up for that FREE… (this includes directory submissions) they get your email address. Many of these recipients of your email address will sell your email address to anyone. I have one email address that is over 10 years old and WOW! does it get spam.
You can also send spam emails of your own to the email addresses of the spammers. There are more of us than their are them. This will flood their email boxes to beyond use.
Here are the email addresses enclosed in this particular email: (please do not send emails with an email address that is not disposable)
