Rand Fishkin at SearchFest 2008 in Portland March 10th

Rand Fishkin will head the bill at Searchfest 2008, Oregon’s annual search marketing conference March 10, 2008, at the Oregon Zoo’s Cascade Crest Banquet Center.
Take a look at the agenda for SearchFest 2008. You won’t want to pass this up. Portland, Rand Fishkin: The Wizard of Moz, and Search Marketing, what else could a SEO want?
And you can still get a great bargin on your entrance to Oregon’s search event of the year.
The early bird discount prices will only be good through February first, because SEMpdx is budgeting now for headcount, catering etc. and so the sooner you get in, the more money you can save.

It also got me to wondering what it is that people get from these things. Do people really draw motivation from this stuff? I have been reading Darren Brown’ s Tricks of the Mind , or at least re- reading sections of it, this week. He points out that…
