I’ve been warning people for years about GoDaddy.com

When I tell clients about GoDaddy they think I am just filled with prejudice. Now I have backup! I was surfing the net tonight and I found this tidbit of information about GoDaddy so beware!
Hi nukers… As many of you know, recently PHP-Nuke acquired the domain name and site content from drakken20.com
Yesterday I realized that GoDaddy.com robbed that domain name. Several days ago I asked them to stop the hosting service for that domain because I’ll host it on my own server, instead they just deleted/removed the domain name drakken20.com and now they don’t want to give back the domain. GoDaddy.com asks for some information to be sent to reactivate it, after sending all the required information they say that “due to the complexity of the issue there are more steps to follow”… By this action I lost the domain, lost the high page ranking of 7/10 the domain had when I purchased it and in resume GoDaddy.com ruined my business. I just wanted to make this public so all you don’t get robbed by GoDaddy.com. Beware. Don’t do business with these thieves. Hope this helps you to make a better decision when purchasing a domain name and contracting a hosting service.Update: Don’t know how effective a public article like this can be… but looks like it has its effects. The domain has been restored, but GoDaddy.com insists that was me who removed it (something I obviously never did).
