The Wind in Portland

When the wind blows the trees will rock until they drop.
The wind last night was incredible. We had power outages all over the place. I tried to drive to Hillsboro last night and I didn’t even get 6 miles from the house when the traffic was at a dead stop. I put up with it for a while then turned around and headed home. On the way home most of the businesses were dark and the street lights were out. Luckily we only had a short power outage of less than a minute. Other areas had power outages of over night. When the sun came up we noticed the neighbors house had a tree laying on it. I mean a TREE this sucker was tall. You can see from the pictures it was quite an ordeal. The tree didn’t harm the house much it basicly just used it for a resting place until the brought in the crain and crew to remove it.
